Smart Water Level Sensor for Urban Flood Early Warning System

AnaSystem smart water level sensor integrates FineTek RF transmitter, 3G/4G/LoRaWAN communication, solar cell and Cloud software with NTUT flood inundation simulation model to provide a real-time urban flood early warning system.

AnaSystem smart water level sensors were deployed in sixteen locations in Tainan for flood warning system. Compared to traditional water level monitoring station, the smart water level sensor provides a cost-effective way to build a monitoring station. In 2016/6/11 rainstorm, the system sent alarm message timely to local officer to dispatch pump car and prevented disaster successfully.
